A rather dark British adaptation of the famous Oscar Wilde novel 'The Picture of Dorian Gray.
Here's the teaser trailer:

Ok, you can already see how they're taking liberties with the novel:

then there's the case of Emily Wotton (wtf?!) - a completely made up character who is supposedly Lord Henry's daughter!

Least they got Sybil Vane right (Rachel Hurd-Wood) *drools*

Here's the painter Basil Hallward (Ben Chaplin). Wow, one would expect this character to be awkward looking (Chaplin certainly isn't), but eh...that's why we've got make up.

And here's Alan Campbell (Douglas Henshall).
Didn't have that big a role in the book, but the flashback to the "horror" between him and Dorian is something i'm really looking forward to in the movie ;-)

Shelter (2007)

Shelter is a gay movie (yeah...i guess you now have the option to read on or...whatever)

It depicts the life of a talented painter and high-school grad (Zach) living in the ghetto with his dad, older sister Jeannie and her 5-year-old son Cody.

Here's reasons why its great:

1. It portrays the fullfilled hopes of every coming out gay person: Acceptance. Zach's girlfriend, best friend, and even jerk-of-a-sister treat him no differently when they find out. Yes, yes, this is complete fantasy compared to typical real-life situations, but its great to see what it would actually be like.

2. Family. Cody probably ends up getting raised by Zach and Shaun. Although when Jeannie is leaving she says that she doesn't want him getting raised by "fags", Zach tells her that this is the best thing that could happen for Cody. The ending scene fortifies this, showing Cody at his happiest.

3. No explicit scenes. Nearly all gay movies i've come accross always attempt to seem like pseudoporn movies, portraying gays as hopelessly promiscuous characters. Not so with this one. This one keeps its basic, focuses on its themes, and doesn't alienate any viewers based to their particular inclinations. They give a very tasteful sex scene, so you can expect no nudities in this one..

4. Ok, this is strange but i love that the characters were all portrayed by straight actors - something the completely surprised me when i looked it up afterwards. Zach (Trevor Wright) and Shaun (Brad Rowe) are totally straight in real life. Here's a picture of them from Hunk Du Jour.

I have a lot of respect for ANY actor/actress that can portray a sexuality that isn't their own so convincingly. Normally if you look close enough you can tell that its forced, but in Shelter Trevor and Brad were totally on point. Eye contact, which is probably the most difficult thing to do during, didn't betray that they were acting.

IMDb gives is a rating of 7.5. I give it a (however biased) 9.0

The first i heard of Blaxploitation queen Pam Grier was in Tarantino's Jackie Brown...damn shame, i know.

Coffy (1973) is a blaxploitation film featuring the original "foxy brown" chick, miss Pam Grier. After her little sister is taken ill due to contaminated drugs, she takes her vengeance on each one of those motherfuckers involved in the trade: the pimps, the dealers, the mobsters, the bad cops - all of them.

She bitch fights about a dozen women, blows off a dude's head with a shot gun, blows off another dude's balls (again with a shotgun), and runs over 2 guys with a Cadillac....one of them was run over while he was INSIDE the house...she drove the car through the front door!

If you don't live in a boat, then you should have seen this already..

Set in the White House -

Michelle all afro-ed up with her army garb complete with camouflage pants and boots (note the crossed legs LMFAO) and an AK strapped on her back.

Obama with a turban, a kanzu and desert-people flip flops (what? -i'm keeping up the politically incorrect spirit here).

In the background a US flag burns in the fire place, and a portrait of Osama hangs on the wall. Oh, and that gesture with their hands would be "the terrorist fist jab", as FOX news called it.

This is what made the front page cover of The New Yorker (hasn't hit the stands yet).

The intended reaction for this, which was to hold a mirror to/ridicule those Obama haters and their BS claims, has for the most part backfired: Obama fans are pissed and Obama haters are cheering (the fucking joke's on you, idiots!!). Obama himself wasn't pleased...shame.

I think its absofuckinglutely hillarious and see zero foul play by the popular mag. This one's going to my desktop background..

5. Artemis Fowl: The Last Colony

yeeeah, um....this one was kinda confusing, but I'll try my best. Here goes:
The Demons (not sure if its the kind we refer to as "demons") are in world whose time is...um..running out. When this time runs out (ok this part i'm sure of) the demon's world and the human worlds will merge which means DEMONS EVERYWHERE for us!!

So, like in all the books, they enlist the fairies help and save the worlds bla bla bla..

BUT, book has the best ending ever! Check this out:
--Artemis has a fairy eye --long explanation
--When Artemis came back (from saving the demon world), he ended up 3 years in the future..he's now 18!!
--His parents did "the wild thing" and he now has 2 year old twin brothers.
--The french girl is still into him, and best of all,
--Artemis now has magical powers!!!

4. Artemis fowl: The Opal Deception

This 4th installment features Opal, who faked being in a come not only to avoid arrest, but also to have time to plot her revenge on those who got her arrested. when the time comes, she escapes and leaves a clone behind in her place.

The crazy bitch goes on to cruelly kill Commander Julius and frame Holly for the murder. She then screws up LEP weaponry and as planned, places the on Foaly the centaur, whom she's trapped locked up in his tech room. Holly, now a fugitive, goes into exile up on earth and enlists Artemis' help. As it turns out, he too is on Opals short list.

Opal ventures on earth and mesmerizes a human scientist into believing she is his "beloved daughter whom he'd do anything for". The scientist just happens to be planning the deepest excavation in human history. Her plan is to get the humans to dig deep enough to uncover the fairy world, a act which will inevitably lead to war.

Opal captures Holly and Artemis and dumps them in an area full of Trolls. She goes on to sadistically watch expecting the trolls to maul them to death. Much to her chagrin, they escape (by a hair, i might add) and plot a counterattack that eventually brings her down.

3. Artemis Fowl: The Eternity Code

This one begins with Artemis meeting with an American Tycoon somewhere in Europe. He is planning to exhibit his new invention, the C cube, fashioned from remnants of fairy technology - which is at least 20 years ahead of humans'.

Surprisingly, the American double crosses him, takes the C cube and fatally shoots Butler. This wouldn't be a big deal except the C cube could potentially allow the humans to compromise the fairies underground AND put the two species at war. The fairies (obviously) have no qualms about helping Artemis recover it.

Butler is brought back to life. The cube is recovered and destroyed. and all is well..

2. Artemis Fowl: The Arctic Incident

Been a while since i wrote about the first AF book, figured i might as well write about the rest before the NEW ONE (book 6) COMES OUT ON TUESDAY!!!!!

Artemis' dad is apparently alive, captured somewhere in Russia by some mob/gang. Down at "fairyland", the goblins, aided by the pixie Opal Koboi, plan a take over of the LEPrecon. Artemis and Holly reach a mutual agreement to help each other. Artemis' dad is recovered (much thanks to Holly's magic), and the Goblin's plan to stage a coup at the police force is foiled by Artemis' genius mind. Opal Koboi is taken under arrested.

Batman: Gotham Knight/The Dark Knight

Gotham Knight is the latest anime-style animation of the Batman DC comics. Its an anthology of 6 animated short films that (they say) are set in between Batman Begins (2005) and The Dark Knight (2008), although i don't see how, exactly.

Just saw it yesterday and to be honest, given the chance to go back in time, i'd pass on watching it. I don't have much experience on animated films (i avoid watching them) but i just found the drawing shitty. Its like they were DIRECTLY animating the comics. Another thing was the 6 films in the 1hr 15 minutes which left little room for character development; and finally, i thought the villains were rather randomly cast...i've never even heard of them. If anything, this movie just made me more eager to see The Dark knight.

Speaking of "The Dark Knight", not only is Heath Ledger creating Oscar buzz for his new movie, he is also attracting unprecedented ticket sales for its opening week...all this from beyond the grave, i might add. According to Yahoo News, movie theatres are getting so overwhelmed they're adding a 6 a.m time slot in addition to sold out 12 a.m screenings.

I will be there when The Dark Knight opens July 18.

In Memory Of "The 'N' Word"...LOL.

Its been about a year since the NAACP held a mock funeral for the "N" word, complete with a casket and a hymn singing choir. People called it a waste of time...some said it was rather pointless; Others even went "nigga please"...they were all right.

Was it a faked death? Are we facing a ghost, or a zombie?

Truth is, the "N" word is anything but dead and the funeral didn't change shit. The word is no less alive today than it was before it was buried. It sure as hell isn't dead in the entertainement industry which was the NAACP's target...The cartoon show The Boondocks uses it like a conjunction, and if i remember correctly, rapper Nas wanted to title his new album "Nigger".

Honestly, for a word whose derivatives cause harm solely to a group of people, i find it strange that they are the very ones against getting rid of it. One day people throw it around in everyday conversations and the next, somebody's ass is on the line because of "racist remarks".

Vantage Point

A Series of Very Fortunate Events (spoiler alert!)

Vantage Point follows the "assasination" of the President of the United States at a summit in Salamanca from the View/Vantage Points of about 8 different characters: the bodyguards, the terrorists, the bodyguard/terrorist, the REAL president, viewers at the summit, and a news agency.

The movie loops from one perspective to another, each one building the plot and providing a crucial piece to the puzzle that is what actually happenned. It all climaxes towards the end in a series of VERY fortunate events where all their paths crash and collide - literally, even.

Vantage Point has a talented star-studded cast of Forest Whitaker, Dennis Quaid, Matthew Fox, Wiliam Hurt, Sigourney Weaver and Zoe Saldana; and its got some SERIOUS car chasing scenes in the streets of Spain second only to THE BOURNE IDENTITY films...I do not blaspheme.

This is one thriller you shouldn't miss...

Bond 22: Quantum of Solace Trailer

The teaser for the long awaited 22nd bond film starring Daniel Craig as 007 was released a few days ago and i was completely beside myself -Totally ecstatic!

Almost 2 years we've waited for a sneak peek at the next film and now its finally here!

Bond is (apparently) now driven with rage following of the loss of his fiance, Vesper Lynd, who commits suicide in Casino Royale. Whether he goes rogue or M kicks him out of MI6, as implied in the trailer, is something i could easily google (or find by reading the book) but would rather wait for the movie.

The film stars Craig in his second 007 bond role, Dame Dench as M, and Ukrainian model/actress bombshell Olga Kurylenko (left) as Camille, the bond girl. She's about the only thing i remember from the movie "Hitman" (if you've seen it you know what i mean *wink*).

I do find it a bit dissapointing that once again Miss Moneypenny won't be making an appearance. Then again it would be very cold of Bond to flirt with M's trusty secretary at a time like this. Her absence in Casino Royale still remains inexcused in my books...

Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends

THE LIFE LIVES ON!!

Its not like me to abandon my habitual downloading routine, drive up to a store and actually BUY an album, so you better believe that this album is damn worth it. And i'm not the only one who thinks so -just ask the Argentinians, the Austrians, the Dutch, the Finnish, the Swiss, the Swedes, the Brits, the Taiwanese....you'll find that the new Coldplay album, Viva La Vida, is a HUGE score - no. 1 everywhere!!*

Their second release, "Viva la Vida" whose live performance was (hands down) the highlight of this years MTV Movie Awards, was the 999th song to top the Billboard 100 in the rock era.

The tracks employ some strange sounding music instruments that, honsetly speaking, take a couple of listens to "dig"- if you're used to mainstream. There's the regular distorted guitar, keyboard, mellow piano, digitalization, then there's more of Chris's oh-so-necessary vocals, hand claps, middle eastern and north African inspirations, among others.

Voguing is a stylized kind of modern dance that originated in Harlem in the 1930's as part of the underground gay culture. The dance involves photo-model like poses obviously, integrated with angular and rigid arm, leg, and body movements.

The form of dance was brought back into the mainstream by Madonna's 1990 hit song Vogue. Remember the line "strike a pose"?

Voguing has since developed and evolved into a kind of dance sport that integrates many other dance forms such as ballet, jazz, dance and even hip-hop. Kill Bill Vol 3--

It probably shouldn't be called "Kill Bill", obviously because Bill is dead: The bride does him in with the Five Point Palm Exploding Heart Technique in Vol 2.

Details emerged as early as 2004 that the sequel may involve "the revenge of two killers whose arms and eyes were hacked by Uma Thurman in the first stories". If you haven't seen the first 2 volumes, the killers being referenced are Sofie and Elle.

In a rather sickening yet hillarious (yes, i'm dark like that) scene captured below, The Bride unwittingly (though not intentionally) throws a knife into Vernita's chest right in front of her daughter Nikki, who was 4 at the time.

She then says to Nikki,
"When you grow up...if you still feel raw about it...i'll be waiting.."

According to Quentin Tarantino, Sofie, now 1 arm less, inherits Bill's fortune and raises Nikki to take on the Bride. "Kill Bill" is all about revenge and for clear reasons Nikki has a dish to serve so she may well be the main character in the sequel.

Last we saw of Elle, she and The Bride were engaged in what was 2005 MTV Movie Award's Best Fight scene. These bad bitches, both wielding Hattoris got into a hardcore stand off before The Bride finally plucked out Elle's second blue eye (the first was plucked by their master, Pai Mei) and squashed it under her bare foot. Elle was then abandoned in that shack in the middle of nowhere, blind, and with a black mamba running loose somewhere in the house.

As far as we know, she isn't dead either.

Other characters what we expect to make an appearance are:
BB, Beatrix's daughter. Her mother was the deadliest DVA, so we shouldn't expect her to be playing with her barbies while Nikki comes after her mother.

Hattori Hanzo, the Sword maker may be called upon for his "Japanese Steel"

The 3 swords: Bud's/Elle's Hanzō, The Bride's Katana and Bill's Hattori.

Quentin implies that the movie the movie will have the same actresses, because he "might..shoot a couple of scenes for it now so I can get the actresses while they're this age". That said, it follows that real filming may begin even 10 years from now.

1. Artemis Fowl by Eoin Colfer

After reading the last book, it feels hopeless for us die-hard Harry Potter fans trying to find another author as able to capture our imaginations as JK Rowling was.

There are al ot of similarities between this book series and the HP series. For one, the main character begins as a little boy having to deal with evils supposedly waaay beyond his age and potential. Also, there's lots of "magic" and realms that regular humans are totally oblivious to. Familiar, huh?

Artemis Fowl (the main character) is a millionaire, a certified genius and a respected European Crime lord and mastermind. It would sound like a typical Italian family mobster book, except for the fact that he's 12...that's right, he's all that and he's not even a teen yet.

After extensive research, he is finally able to track down and obtain the fairy holy Book of The People which he deciphers and learns about the Lower Elements people (LEP). He then initiates his plan to rob one of them of their "pot of gold". Apparently, every so often, the Lower Elements People (LEP) come up to earth to renew their magical abilities. He stake's out where one might go to do this ritual and kidnaps her (captain Holly Short) with the help of his monster-of-a-man bodyguard, Butler.

He demands a ton of Gold in exchange for the elf.

The LEP don't take too kindly to this and so they set a time stop and send a kleptomaniac dwarf, Mulch Diggums to infiltrate the house, because they cannot enter the house of a human without permission (at the expense of their powers)/Mulch however takes this opportunity to steal and then secure his own freedom on the surface (he was a convict down there).

They then send a Troll which wreaks havoc in the house but is eventually taken care of by Butler. Finally, feigning defeat, they agree to give Artemis the Gold while they plot to detonate a bio-bomb (that kills all living beings leaving everything inanimate as it was) and get their gold back.
The situation seems futile for Artemis but he comes up with a genius (which is his trademark, similar to Harry's scar) plan to foil them. As expected, Artemis not only succeeds, but they can never bother him about it ever according to their own laws.

Michelle William's New pop Single

Y'all remember Michelle?...the "number 3" from the Destiny's Child trio? The one who was stuck either singing backup or taking the scraps while the others grabbed all attention?

Well since the group disbanded after their "Destiny Fulfilled" Album, she went into gospel (no surprise there) and is now back with the new pop album "Unexpected" (coming out August 12th).

"We break the Dawn" is her first release from her new album. It features a completely remodelled Michelle, unlike the one that was held back in her girl group: not only is it non-gospel, but its also a dance track and features her new 'bob' haircut à la Victoria Beckham.

Its a hot dance-to track with an equally hot music video, although without the sleaze that most singers seem to find necessary. It plays out late at night in an abandoned city where her male dancers (who all seem to be right off of a Dolce and Gabbana catalog) perform nicely choreographed moves. To be honest, i never liked it that B hogged all the our attention. I've always had Michelle's back through their years together, and was glad to see her get significant parts in their last album.
So far the song's mostly peaking the dance charts, and is currently at number 18 on iTunes, which makes it her highest chart position of any of her singles.
Way to go Michelle!!

Of Queer Marriage

Its really simple. Really.

Marriage has 2 definitions:
1. that sacred sacrament (traditionally) between a man and a woman before God. a priest reads from a bible, and you repeat dogmatic promises that you promise to keep, but don't (but that is a post for another day). Basically, its a church ceremony.

2. by law, marriage is the signing of papers that befit you and your spouse certain rights functional as long as you're married. They total about 1,400 rights.

Considering that you can become an ordained minister online nowadays, or even find some sympathetic priest to perform your union in a place of worship, definition 1 of marriage isn't a problem to obtain - you can get those anywhere.

It therefore follows that definition 2 is what is meant by Gay Marriage: rights pure and simple.
Sure they've been given civil unions, but these only deny them, oh , just OVER A THOUSAND RIGHTS given to hetero couples.

simple, huh?

So what reasons to deny these adults these rights?

01. Dr. No (1962)

An adaptation of Ian Fleming's Dr. No novel, this is the first "bond film" starring the first Bond - Sean Connery. Though it is the first film, it doesn't quite begin with the sequence of events in Bond's life, for instance how he came to obtain his Double O status.

Plot:
The film begins in Jamaica where a British agent is killed, and Bond's mission here is to go over there and investigate. He ultimately uncovers the main villain Dr. No - a member of SPECTRE, played by Joseph Wiseman, at his crab key island. Fight ensues, bond kills the bad guy, the place is destroyed, and the ending (as will be usual) results in bond kissing the main bond girl: Honey Rider - a worthy mention, because Halle Berry's swimsuit in her bond movie tributes hers (i think).

Curtain: Poirot's Last Case

Poirot then goes on to justify why he did it; why he, Hercule Poirot, who values human life, has ended his career by committing murder. He explains to Hastings that there was simply no other way to bring the murderer to justice. In Poirot's own words, "by no ingenuity that I could think of could he be defeated any other way"

If by now you're thinking that this person must have been an almost perfect criminal for Poirot to personally kill him himself, you're right. For this was the perfect criminal--murder's were committed because of him and yet, he couldn't be blamed for them because he didn't actually do anything.

"...and the art of X was this: not to suggest the desire to commit murder, but to break down the normal decent resistance....X knew the exact word, the exact phrase, the intonation even to suggest and bring cumulative pressure on a weak spot....it was done without the victim ever suspecting..."

This man X could not be touched by the law because he made people kill other people simply by suggesting it. Poirot realized this because X had been involved in 5 other cases. He was certain that another murder was going to be carried out at Styles and even indefinitely after that unless he did something.

Probably feeling guilty about killing a fellow human being, Poirot, whose health wasn't good decided to let death take him.

"...I have moved the amyl nitrite ampoules (his medication) away from my bed. I prefer to leave myself in the hands of the bon dieu. May his punishment or his mercy be swift..."

And so the most brilliant detective ever (perhaps more than Sherlock) met his end.

Hercule Poirot, the internationally famed Belgian detective with the large moustache, became the only fictional character ever to be given an obituary on the front page of the New York Times newspaper.

Dame Agatha Christie is the undisputed Queen of Crime. She is the author of over 70 novels and plays which have sold over 2 billion copies worldwide. Her books have also made widely viewed adaptations in film and tv.

The Chronicles of Narnia: A Beautiful Movie

This adaptation from the book by C.S Lewis is the perfect movie for your child; fairy-tale-loving or not. Its packed with important lessons delivered quite nicely.

It's all about four kids who are sent to London for refuge by their mother during world war 2. The professor they're sent to live with happens to have a curious wardrobe that transports you to the woods of the mystical woods of Narnia.

With loads of adventure, the youngsters discover that the woods are run by a tyrannical witch, and find out that they are prophesised to save and become the ones to bring peace back to Narnia. Their journey will keep you on the edge of our seat. A standing ovation for this beautiul movie goes without saying.

This movie (british based, i think) has talented child actors who will blow you away. The movie satisfies both visually as well, receiving an Oscar for Best Achievement in make up and and nominations for Best Visual Effects and Achievement is sound. I strongly felt that it should have taken the latter because the movie more than does justice to your speakers (especially when the lion roars)

Wolf Creek (2005): Movie review

Need a break from “Neighbours” and “Home and Away” but still watch something Australian? Wolf Creek is the movie for you.

This kinda gory Australian horror/thriller movie is about three young people (Liz, Kristy and Ben) who decide to go hiking at a place called Wolf Creek. They park their car and begin hiking around the eerily deserted area. When they've had enough, they decide to leave, but when they head to their car, it won't start.
Then comes Mick Taylor who just happens to be passing around. They think they're safe when he agrees to tow their car back to civilization....their troubles begin there. Mick just happens to be a ruthless killer who kills for (sport?)

It’s good to see that there are movies outside Hollywood that can achieve similar effects. This was my first South Australian horror and i realy loved it. Since the cast are unknown and they're all given equal attention in the movie, you have absolutely no idea who will survive and who will die--so you end up fearing for every one of them throughout the movie; which is exactly how horrors should be.

Ya.

MI:3 Movie Review

If you're an MI:3 fan like i am, have no worries spending that 8 bucks on a ticket (not that anyone should). This movie delivers to near orgasmic levels.

Ethan (Tom Cruise), who had apparently quit his job as an operative, is called back in for a mission to save one of his protegees (Keri Russel). In the process, he gets in too deep and pisses off the main antagonist (Phillip Seymour Hoffman) who in turn captures his wife and plans to kill her.
Ethan then discovers that there was a mole inside his agency and that Keri was actually set up.
He begins following it up as a result we get the hottest action thriller of the year!!

Other worthy mentions in the movie are Laurence Fishburne (Morpheus-TheMatrix), Maggie Q, Johnathan Rhy Meyers, Ving Rhames and Michelle Monaghan (who plays Tom's wife).
Now with that kind of cast, JJ Abrams on the director's seat, and the winner of the Best Actor this year Phillip Seymour (Capote), it's impossible to go wrong.

Your life means nothing until you have watched this installment. Trust me, it beats the previous two.

Frailty (2001): Movie Review

This Thriller/horror Starring Matthew McConaughey is about a man who walks into The FBI claiming that he has information about a couple of mysterious killings happening in the area. He says his father formed a group called God's hand and included him and his brother.
In flashbacks, we see the father getting lists of people to kill from 'God', and he uses an axe to kill them right infront of his sons saying that some day that task will fall on them.
One of the son's however, the one who goes to the FBI agent, is reluctant and like everyone else watching the movie, sees something wrong with the picture of killing people that his dad calls demons.
He ends up doing in his dad.

(at present) he tells the FBI agent that his brother continued killing people and he lures the agent to where the buried bodies are as proof.
A strange twist is introduced towards the climax of the movie: the man who walks into the FBI station is actually the other brother who continued with his father's task.

The most disturbing twist though is that he wasn't crazy like we are led to believe. He actually saw the evil in people....it turns out that he really was doing God's work. The agent had killed his own mother earlier, so his death was justified when he was axed.

If one is ever digging in the recent past for an Okay thriller, i'd recomend this one.

X-men 4 pointers

After watching X-men The Last Stand, there should be no doubt in your mind that another installment will follow.

Here are a couple of pointers that will be addressed in the next sequel:
Case 1: Rogue
We saw Rogue go to the clinic to get the cure because her powers weren't allowing her to get in physical contact with her boyfriend, or anybody else for that matter.
We didn't see her get in.
She didn't explicitly say that she took the cure.
For all we know, she probably learned to control herself.

When Logan was having a nightmare in X-men 1 and he stabbed Rogue, she made contact with him to rejuvenate. This it what ensued later on…

Logan: I thought she was going to kill me

Xavier: if she held on any longer, she could have…

It appears Rogue is the only one with the power to Kill Logan who is otherwise indestructible. If anyone were to finish off the X-men, they’d have to kill Logan, and to kill Logan they’d have to get rogue on their side.

If Magneto still has his powers, Rogue probably still has hers as well. Now assuming that Magneto is pissed at the X-men (Logan in particular) for taking away his powers, he would obviously make them his enemies and want to kill them. This is where Rogue would come in.

Case 2: Storm

Charles made it clear that Storm, not Cyclops would take his place when the time came (a clear indication in the movie that Charles was soon to die and also that Scott would have a similar fate).
We'll get to see Storm as the new leader.
This is just speculation, but I see a relationship between Storm and Beast.

Case 3: Logan

Logan has no memory before 15 years of his life. Xavier tells him about his amnesia that “sometimes the mind needs to discover things for itself”.

He has no idea how the indestructible metal alloy which restricts aging and gives him healing powers got into his body structure.
Logan's past is still blurry both to him an us as well.

Magneto: You haven't told him (logan) about his past, have you?

Xavier: His mind is still fragile

I believe that X4 could finally answer those questions. From X2 with Striker, it was clear there was something that happened to him that only Magneto, Striker and Charles knew about. When Charles was talking to Logan about blocking Jeans mind, Charles said, "I don't have to explain my actions, least of all to you". Jean also hinted that there is something hidden when she told Logan that Charles was also in his mind (probably controlling his unconscious mind too).

Case 4: Magneto
This is what will spark the next installment. Magneto just slightly moved the iron pawns when playing chess--a clear indication that his powers weren't completely suppressed. That little bit of hope could bring back the old magneto.
Now if this is possible with magneto, why not with Mystique and Rogue?

-And by the way, Cerebro still exists. With Jean and Xavier dead, who’ll be able to control it?

-Stryker is presumably killed in the X2 explosion. If he resurfaces, which i'm almost certain he will, he'll try and attack Kitty Pride

X-men Delivery Succesful

X-men: the last stand opened in theatres today and was everything it was meant to be.

The movie revolved around a cure that was developed to cure mutants 'from their disease' and turn them into normal humans. An outraged Magneto rounds up an army of mutants to rebel against this cure. So in the end, a war began with Magneto and his 'pawns" on one side, and the X-men and a couple of humans on the other

Spoiler alert ahead! You've been warned!!

Jean Grey literally emerged from the depths with new-found powers that can only be compared to god. Her alter personality known as Dark Phoenix was the mot powerful mutant ever to be (class 5) while Charles and Eric remain only at class 3.
Charles met his end while trying to get Jean back into the light side, magneto needed her help for the war and she, being evil now, joined his side.

Mystique, in an attempt to save Eric's life took a shot for him which happened to be that antidote. Magneto abandoned her because she apparently had become one of them.

Rogue, still troubled by her powers and not being able to be with her boyfriend decided to go for the antidote.

Storm, if there'll be another X-men will be the new headmaster of the school. Xavier made it clear that she would take his place when the time came (a clear indication that he would soon die).

Logan is practically an immortal, nothing could happen to him. He was the one who stopped Jean from widespread anihilation while all others were disintegrated.

All in all the movie was excellent, the ending opened a door to possibly another sequel.
